Goal Setting for next 10 Years
At 46, formal college is not the right path for me, so I am building my own. My aim is to rise to the highest level I can in both technology and business. My tools are a self-directed Personal MBA and a Personal MS in Computer Science, and I have accepted this as a challenge worth committing everything to.
The Foundation: Short-Term Goal
My first goal is to complete my Personal MBA and my Personal MS in Computer Science. I will begin with the Personal MBA and pursue the Personal MS CS alongside it, so that the two fields strengthen each other. Business without technology limits what I can build, and technology without business limits what I can sell. Together they give me both the craft and the judgment.
These programs are the foundation. Through them I will build the knowledge, skills, and discipline that everything else depends on. This is not about collecting credentials. It is about steady, disciplined growth: learning deeply, applying what I learn, and building real skills over time.
The Purpose: Long-Term Goal
My long-term goal is to build Auregion, Classrome, Creanology, 123eBusiness, and many more ventures beyond these. Each one is a step toward creating something meaningful in technology and business, and together they represent the larger vision I am working toward.
How the Two Connect
The short-term goal is the preparation, and the long-term goal is the purpose. One feeds the other. Every concept I master in my studies will become a tool I use in building these ventures, and every venture will give my learning a real place to be applied. Study without building would be theory, and building without study would be guesswork. I intend to do both, side by side.
The Commitment
From this moment, I am burning the candle at both ends. I will study with intensity and build with determination, giving my full energy to both without holding anything back. I know the road is long and the effort will be demanding, but I have chosen it with full commitment.
I also know that a ten-year journey is won through consistency rather than bursts of effort. Curiosity will keep me learning, discipline will keep me moving on hard days, and clarity of purpose will keep me from deviation. I will measure progress by what I produce and build, not by what I merely read.
The Proof
My aim is simple but ambitious: to become the best version of myself through this journey, and to prove that meaningful education does not require a campus, only consistency, curiosity, and commitment.
This is not a wish or a passing ambition. It is a decision, and I begin today.
Today I quit – Tea, Coffee & Cigarettes.
Today marks a turning point. After 23 years of loyalty to tea, coffee, and cigarettes, I am walking away from all three, completely and permanently. To each of them I say a firm no. No bad interests. No vices.
By God’s grace, liquor never became a habit for me, and for that I am thankful. I stand at peace with myself.
This decision isn’t only about giving up habits. It is about reclaiming my time, my health, my energy, and my focus. Twenty-three years is a long companionship, but I have outgrown it. The person I am becoming needs a clear mind and a strong body, because the goals I have set in technology and business demand both.
There will be hard days, and cravings will test me. But I have made my choice, and I am committing to it fully, without negotiation and without going back.
From this day forward, nothing will pull me away from my path. I choose discipline over comfort, clarity over habit, and purpose over routine. This is the beginning of the best version of me.
